The Winter Issue of Invision

Our latest Invision magazine is landing on doorsteps!

The cover of the Winter 2025 Invision magazine featuring an Ugandan lady called Margaret with her grandson smiling behind her.

In this issue, you’ll meet women who are leading, teaching, praying, and rebuilding (like Jocelyn in Kenya and Tabita in Burkina Faso). their stories are full of courage and kindness. Each one shows how, when women are supported, whole communities begin to flourish…

You’ll also read about our Clean Water Appeal, which sits at the heart of this edition. Margaret, the grandmother on our front cover, shares how a new rainwater tank has changed daily life for her family. And this is just one real story of many in Uganda. Through the WASH* project, our partners hope to reach over 12,000 people across nine villages with clean water, sanitation and hygiene training.

It’s a reminder of how simple things (a rainwater tank, a tap, a bar of soap) can restore dignity and bring hope within reach.

Image of quote: "I am so grateful to International Needs for helping me have access to water right within my compound," says Justine, smiling as she watches her grandchildren play nearby.

Justine is standing with a beaming smile beside her rainwater harvesting tank outside her home.

“I am so grateful to International Needs for helping me have access to water right within my compound,” says Justine, smiling as she watches her grandchildren play nearby.

There are reflections too from Rev Dr Hannah Steele, who writes about what it means to be a blessing wherever we are, and from our partners in Ukraine and Romania, who are supporting women recovering from trauma and loss. You’ll also find updates from projects in Burkina Faso, Kenya, and Nepal, and a welcome to new ambassador Amy Conroy, who shares how faith and sport have shaped her story.

We hope these pages bring encouragement and a sense of connection, and that you are pleasantly reminded that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves!
