Phil’s 60th birthday FUNdraiser
Makonge Primary School in Kiyindi, Uganda, is an International Needs project well known to Phil Marshall and his family.
The team in Kiyindi have started the construction of a new classroom block and Phil’s 60th birthday FUNdraiser will support this, achieving a quality of construction somewhat better than this cairn.
Phil, as friends and family will be only too aware, enjoys a good pun. A play on words. A double entendre, if you will.
Jokes like:
- What do you call a sheep who can sing and dance? Lady Baa Baa.
- Dogs can’t operate MRI machines. But cats can.
- I made song about a tortilla once. Now it’s more like a rap.
- How much does a chimney cost? Nothing, it’s on the house.
And, crucially,
- What do you call a haddock wearing a bow-tie? Sofishticated.
But don’t worry, dear reader. We can make it stop.
Simply donate to our Kiyindi Classroom Appeal and you can not only ensure that a top quality new classroom block is built for a school that desperately needs it, but that Phil will be busy saying ‘thank you’ instead of subjecting you to his next pun du jour. Win win!
£300 will sponsor two square metres of the new classrooms being built.
£150, unsurprisingly, will sponsor one square metre.
£15 will sponsor one square FOOT, for those who prefer to work in imperial!
