Harvest Appeal: Workers for the Field
Help us raise up more gospel workers for the field this Harvest!
£9,999 to go
Target: £10,000
urgent support is required
Will you partner with us this Harvest to help raise £10,000 in support of these vital ministries?
Jesus’ words in Luke 10:1-4 resonate deeply in today’s world: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” Across the globe, the need remains great: for hope, healing, justice, and the Good News of Jesus. International Needs stands faithfully in that gap, sending and supporting workers not only to proclaim the Gospel but to live it out in practical, transformative ways.
This Harvest season, join us in praying and supporting the field workers around the world, as our partners work to plant and reap fruit for God’s kingdom.
Luke 10:1-4 (NIV)
After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. 2 He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. 3 Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves. 4 Do not take a purse or bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.

project overview
Our impact
We need your help to have more workers in the Gospel harvest field!
Our partners work in a variety of contexts to bring tangible help, justice and God’s word. Here are some examples of how our partners are working their harvest fields:
Romania/Ukraine
In Romania, Ukrainian refugees are being provided with security, education and trauma counselling. Tanya, a psychologist, works with over 40 children and young people to understand their experiences, while their parents are supported to find jobs and settle. There is also an Alpha Course, initially run by the teenagers themselves, now reaching their parents with the Gospel message.
Disability
In rural Uganda, disability is often thought of as a curse, or a manifestation of wrongdoing. Therefore, children with disabilities are hidden from their communities, and families. They can be neglected and denied access to their basic needs including medical care, mobility aids and an education. 15% of children in Uganda have a disability yet only 9% of disabled children attend primary school. Our team are changing this. By training community leaders to lead by example in inclusion, disabled children are being welcomed into churches and schools, transforming their lives and of those to come.
Arab-world
In the Middle East, our Pastor shares the Gospel in an Arab context. Working with Syrian and Sudanese refugee children, he provides them with school supplies and supports women fleeing violence. Their ministry also focuses on training future workers, running a Bible school for trainee pastors to work in unreached parts of the region.

stories
Story of Transformation: Disability Inclusion in Uganda
Rev. Eldad Muwanika is a Vicar and School Chaplain at a Primary School in Kayunga District, Uganda. Under the Disability Inclusion Project, he was trained in theology of disability, psychological support, and counselling. His training transformed his mindset, inspiring him to promote inclusion through Christian messages emphasizing God’s love and acceptance. So far, 20 pupils have accepted Christ through his ministry.
Eldad encourages interaction among children of all abilities, supports teachers in inclusive practices, and integrates disability inclusion into his weekly sermons to a congregation of 100. He also engages families and communities, resulting in more disabled children attending services. Through home visits, he counsels households with disabled children, promoting improved care and support.
How we spend your money
For every £1 you donate to this appeal, we will allocate 25p of your donation to cover general support and running costs. There is a small chance that we will raise more money than is needed for this appeal. If this happens, we'll spend any additional funds on other International Needs projects – wherever the need is greatest.
